Create a web application which searches Sammlung digital for keywords provided by the user. The app’s output are the search results enriched by a random scientific fact based on results from a second GLAM-collection (or resources related to the primary result).

The goal is an application which:

  • searches Sammlung digital (or an alternative collection) using the provided search term(s)
  • then searches a second GLAM-collection (e. g. ZHAW digitalcollection, Switch OER or Swisscovery) with the same search term(s)
  • presents the results from the primary platform enriched with one random scientific fact
  • shows the user which collections were used

If the above-mentioned steps and functionalities are too many to be realized during the hackathon, please select the features you prefer or bend the goals according to your own ideas.
